Business Aviation Market Update
The top of the market is tight. The inventory sits at the bottom.
This is the first Integris monthly built on the complete US jet market. Every business jet and business airliner model JETNET tracks is here, 253 models in total, of which 212 have a US presence.
Together they account for 15,697 aircraft in operation. The market divides cleanly by cabin size, and it divides in the direction owners of large aircraft will welcome.
The top of the market is tight. The inventory sits at the bottom.
Ultra Long Range is the tightest segment at 3.6%, with only 71 of 1,959 aircraft listed, and it is also the fastest to trade at 160 days on market. Super Midsize follows at 4.7%.
Below that the market loosens and slows. Very Light Jets sit at 8.8%, and Midsize aircraft, while no more heavily listed at 8.0%, take 332 days to sell, roughly twice as long as the top of the market.
For a seller, scarcity is concentrated in the largest cabins. For a buyer, patience is rewarded everywhere else.

Asking range is the span of model-level average asking prices within each segment, not the range of individual aircraft. It is an asking figure in every case, never a transaction price.
Every price here is an asking price
What the numbers are, and what they are not
Asking price and transaction price are different numbers. Read every figure in this report as an asking figure, including the segment ranges above. Transaction prices in business aviation stay private, and we will not dress an asking price up as one.
Fleet counts, listings, days on market and asking prices come from the JETNET STAR report Aircraft Market Statistics By Model (Aircraft Based, Global / United States / International), All Jets, dated 31 July 2026. Headline figures cover United States based aircraft in operation.
All 253 tracked jet models appear in the full report's appendix; the 41 with no US-based aircraft carry a world fleet count only. Model rows sum to the source report totals of 15,697 US in operation and 1,138 US for sale. Asking prices are model-level averages of advertised prices, rounded to the nearest $1,000. Segment definitions are Integris classifications. This edition sets the series on a United States basis; earlier 2026 editions covered the worldwide fleet and do not compare directly.
